Bridges4Peace Talk at the Beth Israel – July 7th, 2018

Join the Beth Israel Synagogue during Kiddush after services to hear guest speakers, Eric and Rebecca Malloy, speak about the Bridges 4Peace in Israel: Aliyah, Assistance, Advocacy and Awareness. Eric is part of a Christian organization that supports Israel.

Eric and Rebecca reside in Winnipeg MB. They lived and worked in Halifax / Dartmouth, NS for most of their life, with four years in Ottawa. They have been married for 42 years; have three married children and six grandchildren.

Eric is retired from 32 years in Telecommunications with Bell Aliant and Bell Canada, in Nova Scotia and Ontario, where he held several management positions. He holds Licensed Minister credentials with the International Ministerial Fellowship (IMF), Minnetonka Beach, MN. Eric and Rebecca have dedicated their lives to Israel and the Jewish people.

National Director since January 2012, Eric previously served as Deputy National Director, and with his wife Rebecca, served as BFP Representatives for Nova Scotia since 2004. In June 2005 they completed the intensive 2-week Representative training at the BFP Institute for Israel Studies in Jerusalem. The Malloys travel to Israel regularly.

As National Director, Eric oversees and represents the ministry in Canada, leads discipleship tours to Israel, serves on BFP International’s Senior Leadership team, and served on the International Board of Directors of Bridges for Peace International, 2013-2016. He has the privilege of periodic meetings with Israeli Embassy and Consulate officials, Rabbis, leaders of Jewish organizations, and the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) Christian Allies Caucus.

He has a long history of active ministry and leadership in the local church and broader Christian community. He served as Deacon, Bible teacher, missions committee member, and provides periodic pulpit supply. He served on the founding Board of Halifax-based Christian Media Association, as a member of the Christian Leaders Network (Halifax), and four years on the Board of Governors of Master’s College & Seminary in Toronto. Eric is currently working toward a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies through Master’s International University of Divinity, Evansville, IN. Eric and Rebecca are active in both Christian and Jewish communities in Winnipeg and across Canada.
